Perspective on David Cameron KJV Speech
A Plaster for Bleeding Cuts and a 'not so splendid isolation'
Views on Cameron's Speech on the King James Version.
I am glad that we took a few days to digest the Prime Ministers' comments on the value of the King James Version of the Bible. In the immediate aftermath it was easy to ride the emotion of hearing such positive comments made about the book we treasure.
I now consider the speech like a fine dining experience. The ambiance was great, the portions just right, but I am still asking what did I just actually eat? This speech needs the kind of examination of food that we are getting used to- counting calories, checking e-numbers and trying to work out if it's cheaper to buy loose or in the bag.
