What you need to know before going to university or deciding where to study It's not the philosophies of men, not that we don't encounter strong challenges to the Word. It is not the challenge of being in a minority (and for many of us on two fronts). The killer combination for many young people, as it was for me, is the combination of being at a point of self-discovery and being immersed in an environment with such strong and attractive lifestyle alternatives.
Part 2 looks at the effect of the lust of the eyes, and how in the years where young people are starting to settling on their likes and dislikes, that a vast table has been spread by the enemy of things that are good to look upon and appear to be good to consume (to paraphrase Eve in Genesis 3:6).
Experimenting with new experiences
Despite Eve's curiosity, you cannot say she was not warned. Even when confronted by the serpent she was able to repeat the command of the Lord. Curiosity doesn't kill anyone. It's the deception that you can survive whatever you choose to participate in. "You won't surely die" (Genesis 3:4). When you want to disobey the will of God Satan will always be on-hand to provide you with an alternative interpretation of the scriptures. (Not surely – that was just a metaphor, it was symbolic...).
